I have been always inspired by many things in life, but there are two factors that have inspired me in a special and specific way about Victorian and vampire stuff. These two elements are Victorian Francés and Anne Rice, the first one is a Spanish illustrator that you may know because of her illustrations of vampires and other creatures of the night. I got the great chance to be able to see her in person in an event in Madrid, Spain, a couple of years ago, and even took a picture with her. She has always inspired me greatly since I was very young, especially because of her illustrations of victorian vampires and I am grateful for that. I even based part of my look and style in her vampires.

And well, I imagine a lot of you already know who Anne Rice is, she is a writer and author of the Vampire Chronicles books, which include for example “Interview with the Vampire” and “Lestat The Vampire”. Her books captivated me since I was a child, first with the film adaptation of “Interview with the Vampire” and then with all her books. I cannot describe how thankful I am to her and all the inspiration that her books have given me. I was really happy when she announced her new book “Prince Lestat” and that she wants to write more books. As it happened to me with Victoria Francés work, I also based part of my look and style in Anne Rice vampires.
