Back when I was living in Madrid, doing my second year of my other bachelor in Marketing and business, I started enjoying a lot everything that was related with the mind, and how people can help each other with their mental issues. I started to investigate psychology stuff at that time with very little information, like a hobby. But as the time went I felt more and more interested in the topic.
When I finished my Marketing bachelor in Madrid I was considering doing a master in the field, but then I realized that what I truly wanted to do was to start studying another bachelor in psychology. The fellow students from the Marketing bachelor couldn’t believe me, but I was completely inclined to start studying psychology as soon as I could.
Then I came to the UK to start studying this, and so far I truly love it. It’s only my second year, and there is still a year left to go before my graduation, but I am enjoying every single subject of it (even statistics!! haha). I hope to do a master or doctorate after it, and improve my knowledge in the field and be able to help other people with their mental problems in the future.

So many goth psychologists here, we should have a convention :D
@Victor We have statistics, just the name of the subject is different, by the way you have written it in your blog, I thought you have some advanced math torture or something similar :D
I study psychology and sociology at University of Zagreb, Croatia :)
I majored children's psychology and never regretted it! Sometimes it's fun to go to work and hang out with kids but sometimes it is terrifying what trauma can do to a young mind... But I feel like I'm doing something important, preventing damage before it develops...
I wish I could do more but, I live and work in a surrounding where is still taboo to go to a psychologist and people are afraid of being labeled as crazy... And they only bring children when it is ordered by the court . Sometimes I'm so sickened with what I see and hear, things that could be easily prevented if those kids where brought sooner..
Yes indeed, according to my program statistics is very useful for all the research that I may want to do, of course, all (or most of it at least) the statistics are done through SPSS. Are you doing psychology as well? May I ask where? :)
